"After over 20 years of singing and performing internationally, and being asked to do some Swedish songs, I finally decided it's time make an album. But I wanted to do it in my style, so we decided to take the biggest Swedish hits, and give them a new but retro big band orchestra sound" - Henrick Solera
Swinglish is a concept, it's an album, event-, concert- series, book and a short documentary that pays tribute to the past 50 years of swedish international hit songs.
We recorded some songs in Nashville and after a longer break due to the pandemic, we've now started up again and ready to complete the album.
"First Research, and figure out which songs. Then lay down some rough demos, then you sit down and work closely together with some amazing arrangers and after it's time to head into the studio and record with the orchestra, my favorite part.
